This should be required reading by anyone who thinks Washington has the answers to the mortgage “crisis”…

When will we ever learn that left alone the market will provide the proper solution.  Build me a road and build me an army, don’t even try to do anything else federal government.

 

Star Trek – WOW!

I watched the new Star Trek movie last night and was blown away.  I’m not sure if it was that the movie was that good or I was just so relieved that it didn’t stink.  I was half expecting an effort equivalent to Marky Mark and the Planet of the Apes.  Except for Chekov(who by the end of the movie needed a good punch in the mouth), the casting was spot on.  I was blown away by the actor who played Dr. McCoy.  His voice and mannerisms mimicked DeForest Kelley perfectly.

Normally, I am not a fan of time travel plots, but even this was plausibly well done.  It actually seemed like a well thought device to re-boot the series as opposed to a last minute hack.

I would highly recommend this movie to both Trekkers and newbies alike.

I have a blog(don’t get too excited)

Well, I finally got the inspiration from a fellow co-worker and have gotten a blog.  In it, we’ll explore my life and my writing.  I know it’s a shock for a blogger to have a sideline of writing.  Well with me it’s different.  I HOPE to eventually have a sideline of writing.  See the difference.

You’ll also see product review with links to purchase them.  As a constant capitalist, it’s my opinion that if you’re going to buy something anyway, I might as well get a piece of it.
